3 Reasons Why I Couldn’t Write A Blog Today

1. My Brain Hurts

Game of Thrones kept me up well past my bedtime last night while simultaneously ruining my faith in humanity.

2. It's Monday

As much as I try to tell myself it's MONDAY YAY! I'm just like everyone else. Once Monday morning comes around I'm immediately hit with a waive of anxiety after I realize I just spent the past 48 hours doing nothing and now I need to get my shit together.

Solution: Discipline

I'd like to say plan ahead of time in this category but then my Sunday inevitably turns into a work day. I have done this in the past and it doesn't change the fact that 5 AM Monday comes rolling around and no matter how hard I try I will never be a morning person. Still going to drag my ass out of bed though! Doing stuff you don't want to do consistently makes taking a break and relaxing a lot more enjoyable. Hooray for discipline and stuff.

3. Ty is Sleeping

Ty needs around 19 hours a day of beauty sleep. Unfortunately my rapid typing bothers him and as a result I was not able to write a more informative piece of information for you all.

Solution: Make Ty Get A Job

Ty, you really need to start pulling your weight around here. I have really high expectations for everyone and people notice when I let you off the hook so easily. I'm not punishing you. I'm doing this because I love you.

  • Know that it's okay to not be 100% all of the time
  • Take breaks when you're tired, don't quit.
  • Perfection doesn't exist, don't act like it does.
  • Forgive yourself
  • Try again tomorrow.
