5 Easy Exercises To Reduce Neck & Shoulder Pain

Number One:

Scap Squeezes

Sitting or standing, squeeze your shoulder blades together and hold for 3-5 seconds and relax.

Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Number Two:

Wall Angels

Stand with your back against a wall with arms raised to 90 degrees. While making contact with your head, wrists, elbows and shoulders, slide your arms up and down the wall as shown.

Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Number Three:

Chin Tucks

Slowly draw your head back so that your ears line up with your shoulders.

Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Number Four:

Band Pulls

While holding an elastic band with your elbows straight and in front of your body, pull your arms apart and towards the side.

Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Number Five:

Face Pulls

Attach elastic band at shoulder level. Pull band out and back, rotating through your shoulders as you pull your shoulder blades back and together. Bring hands back to starting position. Do not let your head move forward, keep eyes looking straight ahead. 

Repeat the exercise 10 times.
