Everything we do here at Concept Move started in our love for sports and the great outdoors. Competition and countless sport related injuries led to an obsession with achieving optimal performances regardless of personal circumstances. From getting the most out of every workout to chasing the next big goal, we’ve charged ahead to innovate and change the way our community achieves their goals from day one.

We’ll sit down together during your consultation to discuss your current level of physical health, test your metrics, and discuss your future goals. Following the consultation we’ll create a sustainable action plan that works for you, your schedule, and your budget. During your time training with us you can expect us to treat previous of current injuries, deliver precise exercise prescription, and walk you through proven nutritional strategies. Each month you’ll hit new milestones, crush goals, and adjust your plan accordingly based on what works and what doesn’t. We will review and retest your goals and metrics quarterly to ensure you’re making the progress you’re looking for.

You’ll sit down and talk with one of our highly educated massage therapists to discuss your current level of physical health, past injuries/ surgery’s, current complaints and future goals which will allow us to know exactly what it is you would like to gain from treatments. We’ll create a sustainable action plan that works for you, your schedule, and your budget. Each treatment will help you improve on your physical performance, body function and muscle recovery. We will review goals after each treatment to ensure we are on the right path to achieving your goals!

We offer a diverse selection of classes to provide you with an experience you will love. Our elite instructors are hand selected from various specialties throughout the community and promise safe, effective, results-driven workouts.

You’ll begin with our free nutrition consultation which evaluates your current standing and allows us to provide you with a meal plan delivered to you each week. This plan gives you direct support from your nutritionist as well as a customized meal plan with recipes, and a shopping list weekly. Once you’re signed on with us you will be enrolled into your plan of choice, hit a slew of milestones, test and review your goals, and lastly adjust accordlingly to reach new heights!

I have always wanted to make working out a part of my life, but struggled to find a gym I really enjoyed spending time at and felt motivated to go to. Concept Move is that gym for me. I have been working with Taite at Concept Move for several months now and I'm really seeing (and feeling!) great results. Taite has a fantastic attitude, very positive and supportive, and yet listens to any feedback or concerns I have and adjusts the workouts accordingly. He has a degree in athletic training from UVM and a broad knowledge of anatomy. If you're like me, after a long day of work, it's challenging to be self-motivated to get to the gym. Having a personal trainer who is very skilled yet personable really helps me to keep my commitment in showing up and doing the work. My husband and I started taking classes with Taite Carpenter at Concept Move last Fall. We absolutely love the 2-3 hours each week training with him. He keeps the exercises fun and challenging. I love training with Taite Carpenter at Concept Move! He is so flexible with my ever changing schedule and very responsive at anytime to last minute workout change requests. I really like how knowledgeable he is about exercises, so they don’t hurt my back or knees, since I have a long history of injuries and surgeries. I was actually very fearful of starting a professional training program because of this, but Taite has been the perfect match for my health program needs and puts my concerns to rest. I also hadn’t been able to lose even 1 pound in three years of trying on my own - I have now lost seven pounds in just a couple of months and feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel now. I’ve been working out with my athletic trainer, Josh Fitzgerald, for over a year. I cannot express how incredible this experience has been. He knows more about what I’m capable of than I do! Just took my first concept elite group fitness class with Chelsy, and it was amazing!!!! I’m not an ‘elite’ excerciser at ALL but there were modifications that I could do comfortably. ☺️💪🏼 I left feeling like there were dormant core muscles that got rudely woken up from hibernation! 😋 And the other regulars of the class were really welcoming of me ♥️♥️♥️ can’t wait to go again! Maybe someday I’ll be as jacked as you all 🤗 oh and I also took a Trx class and the stretch & stabilize last week, which were very good. Loving how educated the instructors are. 🙏🏻 thank you.

I have known Taite for almost a year and planned to start working out last year; I didn’t. During the Holidays I decided that I needed to make a commitment to getting healthy and I knew I would need help. I found it in Taite. I am signed up for 6 months to work out once a week with him and at least three other days on my own. Taite put together workouts for me to do at home with the equipment I have on hand. I’ve been a member of a local gym for almost two years now, It was May of this year that I thought I would give another personal trainer a try at Concept Move. I’ve had other personal trainers before through video training/Facebook, that worked for about a year but I got no results from that. A friend of mine recommended Josh from Concept Move. At first I was skeptical to try another personal trainer as I go nowhere with the one prior, However from the minute I met Josh I knew I could count on him to help me reach my goals, and better my health. Since May I’ve been very impressed with Josh’s passion to help each client. Josh’s knowledge and ability to connect with each client on a different level is impeccable. Josh is very caring and attentive to each of his clients, he knows our limits. Josh will always encourage us to go the extra mile, to go above our potential. Josh always motivates me to do better, I can see myself going to Concept Move long term. Because of Josh I’ve become stronger and more flexible, I’ve learned to push myself out of my comfort zone.
