You will sit down and talk with one of our highly educated massage therapists to discuss your current level of physical health, past injuries/ surgery’s, current complaints and future goals which will allow us to know exactly what it is you would like to gain from treatments. We’ll create a sustainable action plan that works for you, your schedule, and your budget. Each treatment will help you improve your physical performance, body function and muscle recovery along with each client’s individual goals. We will review goals after each treatment to ensure we are on the right path to the progress each client is looking for.

Swedish Massage

The most popular practiced type of massage. Swedish massage combines long flowing stokes in the direction of the heart for more of a relaxing touch of massage. Ideal for people having their first massage. Benefits include relaxation, reduction of pain, removal of toxic waste and a fresh supply of oxygen to the muscle.

Deep Tissue Massage

This type of massage involves firm pressure (to the client’s preference) to target connective tissue and focuses on muscles below the top of the surface. It is normal for clients to experience pain and soreness a few days after the session followed by feeling more mobile and experiencing less pain or discomfort. Benefits include alignment of muscle layers and connective tissue along with more mobility within muscle range of motion.

Hot Stone Massage

This type of massage involves heated stones that are used to apply pressure as well as heat to the body. These are extremely smooth stones that help aid in relaxing tight muscles still with a relaxing touch. The heat helps penetrate deep into the muscle bellies to release tension. This can be used in combination of both Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. Benefits include relief of pain, encourages removal of toxins and restores balance to the body’s systems.

Sports Massage

A massage that incorporates pressure into a muscle along with a stretch. This allows a deeper pressure into a muscle while the client is still comfortable. Benefits include faster healing process, eliminating range of motion restrictions and increase blood flow.

Trigger Point Therapy

is a type of massage that involves isolated pressure and release to a trigger point in the body. A trigger point is a tight area within a muscle tissue that directs pain to another part of the body. During this type of massage clients will need to actively participate through deep breathing and communication with the therapist about exact pain, and any discomfort experienced. This can be used in combination of both Swedish and Deep Tissue massages.

Dry Fire Cupping Therapy

is a type of massage that involves using cups with a flame to create a suction to the muscles. This causes skin to rise and forces blood vessels to expand. Instead of using a compression of pressure to release the muscle is being pulled to release. This can cause light bruising which shouldn’t be sore to the touch and does fade within a few days. This can be used in combination of both Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. Any one on blood thinners can not receive this type of treatment. Benefits include relaxation, removal of toxic waste, and relief of pain.

Cupping Therapy

is an accident form of alternative medicine that can help with pain, inflammation and blood flow.

Shiatsu

is a form of Japanese bodywork with the same principles as acupressure.

Thai

is a healing system combining acupressure and assisted yoga. This form of therapy helps with range of motion and tension.

Prenatal

is swedish techniques safe for pregnant women. This therapy relaxes the body and prepares it for child birth.
