Just took my first concept elite group fitness class with Chelsy, and it was amazing!!!! I’m not an ‘elite’ excerciser at ALL but there were modifications that I could do comfortably. ☺️💪🏼 I left feeling like there were dormant core muscles that got rudely woken up from hibernation! 😋 And the other regulars of the class were really welcoming of me ♥️♥️♥️ can’t wait to go again! Maybe someday I’ll be as jacked as you all 🤗 oh and I also took a Trx class and the stretch & stabilize last week, which were very good. Loving how educated the instructors are. 🙏🏻 thank you.

I love training with Taite Carpenter at Concept Move! He is so flexible with my ever changing schedule and very responsive at anytime to last minute workout change requests. I really like how knowledgeable he is about exercises, so they don’t hurt my back or knees, since I have a long history of injuries and surgeries. I was actually very fearful of starting a professional training program because of this, but Taite has been the perfect match for my health program needs and puts my concerns to rest. I also hadn’t been able to lose even 1 pound in three years of trying on my own - I have now lost seven pounds in just a couple of months and feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel now. Thank you Taite - I would not hesitate in anyway to recommend this trainer to anyone!

I’ve been a member of a local gym for almost two years now, It was May of this year that I thought I would give another personal trainer a try at Concept Move. I’ve had other personal trainers before through video training/Facebook, that worked for about a year but I got no results from that. A friend of mine recommended Josh from Concept Move. At first I was skeptical to try another personal trainer as I go nowhere with the one prior, However from the minute I met Josh I knew I could count on him to help me reach my goals, and better my health. Since May I’ve been very impressed with Josh’s passion to help each client. Josh’s knowledge and ability to connect with each client on a different level is impeccable. Josh is very caring and attentive to each of his clients, he knows our limits. Josh will always encourage us to go the extra mile, to go above our potential. My husband and I started taking classes with Taite Carpenter at Concept Move last Fall. We absolutely love the 2-3 hours each week training with him. He keeps the exercises fun and challenging. He set initial benchmarks and periodically tests us against them - It's awesome to see the improvement! Whether you new to exercising or been doing it for a long time, Taite is amazing!

I’ve been working out with my athletic trainer, Josh Fitzgerald, for over a year. I cannot express how incredible this experience has been. He knows more about what I’m capable of than I do! I am signed up for 6 months to work out once a week with him and at least three other days on my own. Taite put together workouts for me to do at home with the equipment I have on hand. I have been working with Taite at Concept Move for several months now and I'm really seeing (and feeling!) great results. Taite has a fantastic attitude, very positive and supportive, and yet listens to any feedback or concerns I have and adjusts the workouts accordingly. He has a degree in athletic training from UVM and a broad knowledge of anatomy. If you're like me, after a long day of work, it's challenging to be self-motivated to get to the gym. Having a personal trainer who is very skilled yet personable really helps me to keep my commitment in showing up and doing the work. If you're in the Burlington or Williston Vermont area and want that extra help engaging in a fitness regime, give Taite and Concept Move your trust. Taite actually makes working out fun!

I have always wanted to make working out a part of my life, but struggled to find a gym I really enjoyed spending time at and felt motivated to go to. Concept Move is that gym for me. I can't say enough positive things about Sydney. She's always switching things up to keep me on my toes and push me to try new things, but also incorporates my favorite exercises because she knows it keeps me motivated. If I ever feel like I don't know what I'm doing, or I need more clarification, she is right there to answer any questions I have, or to demonstrate again...and again...and again for me. I ran into some back issues a couple months ago and she knew all the right questions to ask since she went to school for Athletic Training. I knew that she wouldn't let me do anything that would cause more damage and her advice on stretches to do when I went home were invaluable to me. Having a trainer that you look forward to seeing after a long day at work is about as good as it gets. Only thing better is looking forward to seeing each and every one of the gym staff - and I can say thats exactly how I feel about Concept Move. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself!

Concept Move is a highly credentialed facility that has helped hundreds of clients achieve wellness success. Not only do we strive to add more clientele to our culture we retain more than 85% of customers that walk through our doors allowing us to triple our growth in less than a year.

A Complete Approach

The human body doesn’t operate off one system. Individuals don’t have the same goals nor do they have the same medical history and experiences. There is not a cookie cutter approach to ones wellbeing. Everyone we see here at Concept is on their own plan. Some client’s succeed with group fitness only, others work with an Athletic Trainer to mend old injuries while simultaneously seeing a strength coach to develop a strong foundation around the injury. Many clientele utilize our free nutrition support group while others choose to go all in on a specific meal plan. We tailor our approach to YOU based on exactly what YOU need.

Interprofessional Communication

We work in collaboration with external physical therapists, other fitness studios, physicians, chiropractors, structural integration specialists and more. Sometimes you need specialty care in conjunction with your routine here. Rather than holding you hostage to our services will often refer out to other professionals that we collaborate with to ensure you are getting the best possible care.

Most frequent questions and answers

You choose what you are willing to commit to. We do encourage a minimum of 180 minutes of exercise per week in conjunction with a sound meal plan. The way you achieve that however is completely up to you. Many of our clientele choose hybrid programs. They’ll take one class per week, utilize the online training app, work individually with a coach one to two days per week and join the free nutrition support group.

Our pricing is completely tailored to the individual therefore there is no true “cost.” Our pricing is structured around the services you choose to utilize. Every service we offer has a free offering from your first training session to your first class. We encourage you to try everything and see what works best for you!

Yep! When you get started with us your initial training session is free of charge this is where we’ll get to know you, take down some baselines and see how you’re moving. You’ll be encourage to take a free class, meet with our nutritionist for free and join any of our free support groups so you can get a true feel for what you’re joining.
